LandLife Video Competition

Would you like to win a two night stay for two people in a 16th century restored rustic hotel in Catalonia? Would you like to have your work exhibited at our Congress this November and your experience of land stewardship viewed by hundreds of people?

This is what is on offer if you enter our LandLife video contest. We want you to create a short video to explain your relationship with nature conservation and the land stewardship initiative.

Three winning videos will be selected from the submissions. The winners will receive prizes and the winning videos will be shown at the LandLife Congress, “Land: Quality of Life”,  5th – 8th November in Barcelona.

National Assembly on Land Stewardship in Italy

Legambiente held the second national assembly of Italian Land Stewards on Saturday 17th May, to discuss the development of the land stewardship network, both nationally and internationally. The event was held in the Lombardy region at the picturesque Cascina Forestina, west of Milan. Participants included local farmers, land stewards, Legambiente members and staff, including General Director of Legambiente, Rossella Muroni.

The main purpose of the assembly was to strengthen the Italian network of land stewardship, to develop a national campaign, and to discuss what land stewardship organisations can do to spread the land stewardship concept throughout Europe. Secondly, the assembly provided an opportunity to prepare for the European Congress “Land: Quality of Life” in November 2014.
